First Module - Your Idea (Ignition)

Who cares about your idea? No point writing anything till you have a clear idea of who's going to read it.


Then you'll learn the raw essential positioning skills of the author to create what your idea really needs – title, subtitle and back cover blurb.


Then you'll make your idea manageable and draft a practical and useful table of contents.

Second Module – Your Research (Fuelling Your Book)

First you'll share and test your idea with interested others. (Inside the program and outside.)


Then you'll start to research your idea, refining the core concept and message as you go.

Third Module – Your Writing (Maximum Acceleration)

Exactly how to get your book written efficiently and effectively. How to give each of the elements the time and space it deserves.


How to deal with the fact that your ideas might have changed along the way. How to make sure the structure delivers against your plan (the table of contents).

Fourth Module – Your Launch (Escape Velocity)

How to fully realise your book in multiple formats (ebook, paperback and hardback among others). How to presell and sell your book to a waiting audience. And how to generate ongoing visibility for your book with fast, simple and costless marketing strategies.

Fifth Module – Feedback and Group Work (The Real Launchpad)

In this final module you finalize your own personal Book Launch Blueprint. Importantly you also get group feedback on your plan.

Finally you get free access to our productivity app, Authors Grid, that keeps you on track as you start the process of writing the book that will change your life.

Course schedule

3-4 hours a week for 2.5 weeks
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays

    1:00pm - 2:30pm EST

    Each of the 5 modules is delivered in an interactive 90-minute session – two each in weeks 1 and 2 and a final 5th session, where you get feedback on your Book Launch Blueprint as a work-in-progress, in week 3.

  • Weekly projects

    1 hour each week

    Each week there will be about 1 hour of your own time needed to create and flesh out the elements of your book– including the title, subtitle and blurb, a draft table of contents, and a draft authors preface.
